Title | Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Part 2-27: Particular requirements for appliances for skin exposure to ultraviolet and infrared radiation |
Abstract | IEC 60335-2-27:2009 deals with the safety of electrical appliances incorporating emitters for exposing the skin to ultraviolet or infrared radiation, for household and similar use, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and 480 V for other appliances. Appliances intended to be used in tanning salons, beauty parlours and similar premises, are also within the scope of this standard.
