General Information: A European leader in the electrical and

worldwide. LCIE is a Notified Body for the Low Voltage directive, Machinery Directive, Ex
Directive (ATEX), Personal protective equipment Directive and a Competent and Notified
Body for the EMC Directive. LCIE Laboratories are accredited to ISO 9000 and EN 45001. Our services in addition to CB testing and certification include:
NF Mark LCIE issues the NF mark, on behalf of AFNOR. The NF mark stands for product conformity with French, European and International Standards covering safety, quality, design purpose and performance.

We will let the applicant know if we require a specimen of the product when the Application is acknowledged. We are prepared to recognize annex to the CB Test Certificate and Test Report covering our national deviations. We deal with incoming CB applications as a matter of priority before testing assignments provided the need for re-testing is small.
List of application and testing fees are included in LCIE Contract. Annual fees are also
included in the LCIE Contract.
Pre-license inspection is required.
Routine factory inspection by Certifying Body is required.
Samples for re-testing are selected during factory inspection. The license is valid without time limit unless canceled earlier because of non-compliance, withdrawal of the Standard or on the applicant's request. |
