Dear CTL Members:

The IECEE has received a nomination for the position of CTL Chairman for the term of office starting on Jan. 1, 2010 to Dec. 31, 2012.

The German Member Body of the IECEE has nominated Mr. Wolfgang Niedziella, Head of Department 3 - Components for Household, Commerce and Industry; Environmental Testing at the VDE in Offenbach, Germany.

The current Chairman of CTL, Mr. Joe Gryn, Director of IECEE Relations at the ULC in Toronto, Canada, has previously expressed his willingness to continue in the role of CTL Chairman for his third and final term, starting in 2010, in accordance with the IECEE Basic Rules.

The IECEE rules state that : "The Chairman and the Secretary of the CTL are appointed by the CMC on nomination by the CTL. (IECEE 01, Clause 9.2)"
