Registration and Information Desk
The meeting will take place at the LOTUS HALL, 3rd floor of the Hotel Shilla Jeju, Korea. Registration of delegates will begin on June 10th between 10:00 and 13:00. Registration and information desk will be maintained around the entrance of LOTUS HALL on the 3rd floor on meeting days between 8:00 and 17:00.

Event: Gala Dinner Date and Time: June 11th, 2008, 19:00~ Place: HALLA HALL (5th floor) at the Hotel Shilla Jeju Registration: Please check whether you will participate in Gala Dinner on the meeting registration form. If there is any accompanying person, please mention the number of person on it.
Accompanying Person's Program
Half-a-day Tour will be prepared for accompanying persons on June 11th, 2008. The detailed information on schedule and time will be notified later. Please mention the number of person who will participate in tour program on the meeting registration form.

Accomodations

Special arrangements have been made with the Hotel Shilla Jeju to accommodate delegates and their accompanying persons for the 11th IECEE CMC Meeting.

Hotel Shilla Jeju is located in Jungmun Resort Complex, Seogwipo-si, Jeju, Korea. There are some other hotels which are in the same class with Hotel Shilla in Jungmun Resort Complex, but the special rates for this meeting will be applied to Hotel Shilla only.

Please refer to the Hotel Information and Reservation Form for the Hotel Shilla Jeju, and contact them directly to make your reservation.

For the hotels lower than Hotel Shilla Jeju, we recommend the Hotel Hana located in Jungmun Resort Complex. If you would like to make a reservation for the Hotel Hana, please let us know when you register for the meeting.

☞ How to get to Jeju International Airport

1) Incheon International Airport (or Gimpo Domestic Airport) to Jeju International Airport
- Korean Air and Asiana Airline
- Flight time : only an hour

Note 1: The flights to Jeju are mainly available from Gimpo Domestic Airport located about 40km from the Incheon International Airport. Airport limousine buses or Seoul Metro (AREX Express) are available from Incheon Airport to Gimpo Airport.

Note 2: Incheon International Airport serves few domestic flights to Jeju. For detailed information about the airport, Please visit the website at:

2) There are direct flights to Jeju International Airport from Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Shanghai, Beijing, Shenyang and Taipei.

☞ Jeju International Airport to Hotel Shilla Jeju

1) Limousine Bus

It takes 50 minutes from the Jeju International Airport to Hotel Shilla Jeju by an airport limousine bus. The limousine bus (No.600) runs every 15 minutes (from 06:20 to 21:50) and its fare is KRW 3,900

Visas

Delegates are advised to check with the local travel agent about regulations regarding VISA. In case of doubt, the information can be obtained from the nearest Korean Embassy or Consulate and the following website at:

※ Special Entry arrangements for the Jeju island

• Eligible countries
- Applicable to all foreigners of countries whose visa-free entry into Korea have not been permitted, except for the citizens of the following countries, who enters into the Jeju airport with the purposes of touring or passing through.

• Prohibited countries of Special Entry arrangements for the Jeju island (11 countries)
- Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Cuba, Syria, Macedonia, Palestine, Afghanistan, Nigeria and Ghana

• Period of stay: 30 days

• Permitted area and range: Jeju island

• Conditions of entry:
- A person who arrives directly into the Jeju island by flights or ships.

Currency and Credit Cards

The unit of Korean Currency is Won. Coin denominations are 10 won, 50 won, 100 won, 500 won. Bank notes are 1,000 won, 5,000 won and 10,000 won. Bank checks are circulated in denomination of 100,000 won and over.
Foreign currency and traveler’s check can be converted into Korean won at foreign exchange banks and other authorized money exchanger. The exchange rate is subject to market fluctuations. One USD was equivalent to about KRW 925 as of December 2007.
Credit cards, including VISA, American Express, Diner’s club, Master Card and JCB are accepted at hotels, department stores and restaurants.

Jeju is the premier tourist destination in Korea because of the stunning natural scenery and superior tourist amenities. Scenic beaches, waterfalls, cliffs and caves lie in harmony, and the mild weather makes Jeju-do an even more ideal tourist destination.

Weather

Jeju island has a subtropical maritime climate. It has four distinct seasons and an average yearly temperature of 16℃. Jeju in June is in the beginning of summer season with the temperature ranges between 17℃ and 25℃.
